Customer Success Story: Displays2go
Learn how Displays2go partnered with Western Computer to expand its use of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Displays2go manufactures and distributes supplies, fixtures, and presentation materials for retail and trade show displays. One year after collaborating with Western Computer to deploy Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Displays2go continues to benefit from the partnership and by utilizing a leading ERP platform to run the business.
“We’ve advanced well beyond learning how to use the system to now fully leveraging the information in Dynamics NAV to transform how we run the business,” says Erol Fikri, Director of Supply Chain and Logistics.
Since the initial implementation, Displays2go has integrated Dynamics NAV with Microsoft Power BI. The analytical tool enables managers to extract information to forecast customer demand and keep the right amount of inventory in stock. With a powerful ERP platform to run finances and process orders as well as to streamline customer service, the supply chain, production, and distribution, the company has also expanded its sales volume without significantly adding to the headcount.
Using Dynamics NAV also helped Display2go to achieve their sustainability goals, transforming from a company that relied heavily on paperwork for managing and coordinating workflow processes to one that now utilizes hardly any paper at all:
“We used to spend roughly $45,000 every year on paper and toner,” Fikri reveals. “Those expenses have decreased by 95%. Without paperwork to handle, we’re also more efficient in the way we process orders and invoices. That gets products out the door faster and speeds up cash flow.”
Western Computer continues to help Displays2go to expand its use of Dynamics NAV. An electronic data interchange (EDI) connection has been established with freight carriers to upload invoices electronically, rather than Displays2go having to key them into the system.
“This is a great example of how Western Computer collaborates closely with us to help discover new ways to run our business more effectively,” says Lenny Volynsky, the Business Systems Manager. “It’s great to have a partner like Western Computer by our side to guide us along the way as we deploy new technologies.”
